Santa Cruz Earthquake

We had an earthquake this morning. It wasn’t Loma Prieta but it rattled the windows and got the adrenaline pumping. Happened about 05:30. See what it takes for me to blog these days. That kinda sucks. aloha PS. Check out the Sacred Digital podcast over on iTunes Music Store. Tako isn’t dead yet.

Corporate Life…

I remember now why I don’t like life as a corporate slave. It sucks your life away. You spend your time working on that which is only of marginal importance and have little time for the things in life that are truly important. Catching Up

Two weeks! It’s been 14 days since I last posted anything. That sucks. Things are a lot busier. Spending 8 to 10 hours a day doing someone else’s work makes it really hard to find time to do the work you want to do. Such is life, I guess. My friend Tim & his wife … Read more

Returning to Silly Cone Valley

It is interesting, what happens as we try to do life. It’s been a year and half since I left Apple. I’ve learned a lot. Haven’t been quite as successful as I’d like at the things I’m trying to do. I didn’t think I was ready to give up yet. I thought I was going … Read more

Staying In Shape…

Hail and Ice storm in Santa Cruz

Last night we were watching a PBS series called Manor House. I usually hate reality TV but this series is really good. They select modern day people to live for three months by the customs, traditions and lifestyle of past periods. We watched the 1940s House in which a family lived in a house according … Read more

Busy Week…

It’s been a long week. I’m glad it comes to a close tomorrow with little on my schedule for Friday. Wednesday started at 5:45 to get to my first BNI meeting by 7:15 even though it turned out the meeting didn’t start until 7:30. Haven’t really decided yet whether I will join. I’ve heard a … Read more

Newbot

I don’t what to become a newsbot but this one kind irks me. I guess it is the way of things to come. Bloggers will be yet another arm of the PR campaigns of corporate America. That kind of sucks. Brokeback Mountain wins three Oscars but failed to bring home Best Movie. I have to … Read more
