Were these heros taken before you got there or since you left. Did you know them?
I never had the privilege of meeting these guys. I was part of a unit that deployed to the Northern Arabian Gulf (Iraqi coastal waters) in response to the attack in which these three Petty Officers died.
The two Navy Petty Officers died in the attack. The Coast Guard Petty Officer survived the attack but died later.
