Whacha readin’?

I finished “R Is For Ricochet (Kinsey Millhone Mysteries)”, “S is for Silence (Kinsey Millhone Mysteries)” and “Eleven on Top (A Stephanie Plum Novel)” haven’t been released in paperback yet. So, I’m hard up for stuff to read. I resorted to reading stuff that’s good for me. I mean like, books where I’m going to … Read more

R Is For Ricochet (Kinsey Millhone Mysteries)

R Is For Ricochet (Kinsey Millhone Mysteries) by Sue Grafton I finished “R Is For Ricochet (Kinsey Millhone Mysteries)” (Sue Grafton) last night. I think I’ve been reading Grafton too long. This is like the five or sixth Grafton book in a row. R is For Ricochet is a standard Millhone fair. If you’re a … Read more

Saturday Morning Breakfast Ritual

March of the Penguins

March of the Penguins It was family movie night. Somehow, March of the Penguins ended up at my house. I don’t know how but it did. In a word, zzzzZZZZ. Strobel interviewed Dr. Lynn Anderson for his chapter on doubt. … Read more

The movie is about a town called Stepford which is supposedly in Connecticut. Mapquest says there … Read more

But I started finding that most of it made me sad because the songs all reminded me of something about my family that I then missed. Listening to Hawaiian … Read more

KILL BILL

I walked out on a movie tonight. I have done that in years. It was so bad I simply could not continue watching it. As I left I muttered to myself, “this is disgusting.” And it was. The movie Kill Bill is a live action rendition of a particular genre of Japanese manga. They are … Read more

The Matrix Reloaded

Well, I did the obligatory viewing of The Matrix Reloaded today. It was OK. A bit slow in places. Some interesting puzzles to mull over while we wait for The Matrix Revolution. I recommend the movie mostly because it is a cultural phenomenon. Aloha
