I didn’t see this in the mainstream media. This is a letter from the mayor of Tall ‘Afar, Ninewa, Iraq, thanking the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment for liberating his town from the control of Abu Mousab Al Zarqawi.
I got to know some of the guys from the 3rd ACR while I was in Kuwait. I think this is pretty cool. Goes to show that US forces in Iraq are in fact doing some good, despite being as stupid as John Kerry seems to think we are.
