Yeah, there's just a lot going on in my life right now and not enough time to be still and reflect on it all. That's often something blogs are good for. But of course, you have to take/make the time to blog. It's a Catch-22 thing.

So what's all this stuff going on in my life? Well, let's see...

• I'm changing jobs which is actually a fairly significant career change
• I'm involved in the creation of a new church
• I'm returning to the halau, Ka Lei Wehi O Ka Mailelauloa, playing Ipu again
• I'm in the Navy Reserves (that whole one weeked a month and two weeks a year, don't believe them - it's more than that by quite a bit)
• And I still do my regular daily life things like being a husband, being a father, surfing, running, swimming, etc.

I gotta hammer all this into some sense of managable order. I'll start on that tomorrow.

Well, I got all of Smittie's Ramblings ported to Movable Type. Now I need to get the Family News weblog ported. Then get the layout worked out and I'll be ready to throw the switch, again.

Whew! I'm ready to be done switching web hosting services. What a pain in the butt!

So, this is a test of a new weblog management software called movableType.

OK, someone is going to have to help me out with this one. This story says the woman first swallowed a fly and then swallowed a fork, yeah a fork, trying to catch the fly? Huh?

Yes, I've been rather quiet. I suspect that no one has really noticed because I don't think anyone reads this stuff but me. That's OK. One of the primary reasons I do this is to entertain me. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to be entertaining thousands with my humor and wit.

There's lots going on in my life and the life of my family. I'm just too busy to write about it. Most significantly I'm still trying to get my web site moved over to WebIntellects. I can't get my SSI stuff working over there and since the vast majority of my content relies on an SSI cgi, SSIs kinda need to work. Someone at WebIntellects is looking into it. Should have the switch made soon.
